Introduction

Grace & Able compression gloves review
Grace & Able compression gloves!

Hello everyone! This is another product that I am extremely excited to share with you all, as these have become basically a daily necessity for me and my wife over the past several months.

If you or anybody you know have hand stiffness, pain, or arthritis and have struggled to find a fix, I would strongly recommend that you keep on reading to learn about the Grace & Able compression gloves.

In this review I’m going to cover the ins and outs of these gloves, how they can help you, and why I love them so much!

Design and Key Features

The Grace & Able Compression Gloves provide gentle, therapeutic compression to your hands. Why is this helpful? Well, I’m you asked. If you suffer from swelling, pain, poor circulation (this is a big one!) arthritis, or carpal tunnel, the gentle and comfortable compression of these gloves were made EXACTLY for you.

Theres no doubt that (like everything from Grace & Able, I’ve noticed) that these are amazing quality. If you’re like me, you’ll be amazed at how comfortable and soft they are, but they hold up well and durability has not been an issue.

They are made out of cotton, polyester and spandex for a great mix of comfort and compression- but not too much compression! This is a major pain point (no pun intended) that some people have with daily, all day compression gloves like these ones- instead of alleviating pain and helping with sore joints, all they do is cut off the circulation. Thankfully, this is NOT a probem with the Grace & Able compression gloves- the amount of compression is perfect and comfortable, and these can easily (and are designed to be!) worn all day as needed.

They are also super breathable and cool, with moisture-wicking fabric that can deal with the hottest of climates and the sweatiest of palms- my house didn’t have A/C last summer and I used these no problem.

Functionality

So, some of you may be intrigued by the prospect of compression gloves to alleviate hand symptoms, but you might be still wondering what exact these gloves do, and who exactly they are made for. Great questions! Lets dive in:

The reason why I use these is because I A) do a lot of random tinkering outside and B) do a ton of typing and working at my computer. So, living that kind of life is bound to cause some hand pain and stiffness- and this is exactly what happened to me. Doing so much work on the computer made my hands super achy and tired, and the fingers on the hand I use for my mouse were a complete write off- so achy and sore.

Comfortable and lightweight!

As you know if you’ve been following the site for a while, I only review products that work. And these compression gloves work. They made my hands feel so much better at my desk and on the computer- the difference in the achiness and stiffness in my hands was seriously night and day as they feel so much better while wearing these compression gloves.

When my hands were at their worst, I even started wearing them to sleep! Surprisingly, this is a common use for these gloves. Those who suffer from hand arthritis and carpal tunnel often wake up with sore hands, and for some people its so bad it even keeps them up. I’ve had this issue before with my wrist, and I am happy to report that sleeping with these gloves on has my wrists AND hands feeling a lot better in the morning.

While I don’t have arthritis in my hands, a lot of people have reported that this is a tremendous use for the gloves as well. And the best part is that they aren’t bulky or uncomfortable at all, you can hardly even tell you have them on.

I don’t have this issue- but my wife has a problem with cold hands and poor circulation. The Grace & Able compression gloves also help with this! She wears them around the house and while doing chores and had said that they are great for this. While they are gloves, they don’t cover the entire finger and leave the fingertips open, so you are free to live life normally while still enjoying all the warmth and compression you need.

Who Are These Gloves Best For?

I know, I still didn’t fully answer the question of who exactly would benefit from the Grace & Able compression gloves. Obviously, if you suffer from arthritis, carpal tunnel, and any sore of hand stiffness they are great. But what else?

Anybody who works at a desk (like me!) can definitely benefit from these. Jobs like this require a lot of typing, a lot of wrist stiffness, and a lot of mouse moving and can sometimes result in carpal tunnel.

Other people who can really benefit from these are artists, crafters, knitters, painters, athletes, etc. Any activity that causes hand pain can benefit from these gloves- and even those that don’t! The cool thing about the Grace & Able gloves is that they really are great for all day use- they really are that comfortable. Like I mentioned before, the dexterity is great as the fingertips are open, so you don’t have to worry about clumsiness when using the phone or doing anything where you need a fine touch- you won’t be hindered at all.

They also help a lot of wrist pain- while they aren’t a wrist brace at all (see my review on the Grace & Able wrist brace for that) they still provide warmth and gentle compression, and as someone with a bad wrist I really appreciated this and noticed a difference.

Awesome dexterity!

Another fun thing about these gloves is the large range of colors available- I chose black because I’m boring, but the sky is really the limit on your color choices. They also have a lot of sizes available (make sure you check your size!) and you can size down if you want extra compression or size up if your hands swell.

The Final Word- Grace & Able Compression Gloves

The Grace & Able compression gloves really are something else, and I was really happy to write this review. My wife and I both love them, and a big reason for that is for their versatility. They are super comfortable, have the perfect amount of compression, and you can use them for just about anything. They can get me through a day of work at my desk no problem and have really helped me with my hand pain and stiffness, as well as my wrist pain.

Until next time!
